There have been some exciting things happening in the agency this month. Read on for news.

WEBSITE

The Agency Website finally went live this month. I am so excited to hear your feedback on the website. It took a while for me to find a good web designer but thanks to Hendrie and John from Mainboard who have designed a lovely site.

WORKSHOPS AND EVENTS

I try and organise monthly workshops for actors in the agency. This month we are doing improvisation classes in De Waal Park on weekends. The first one was on 7 May and twelve actors from the agency joined and had a lot of fun playing the improv games I taught them and also networking with each other. The next improv class will be on 27 May. The Improv workshop is free for the actors and allows them to network and learn how to think on the spot , how to have fun and let go and how to work with a scene partner. Improvistion is a great tool for all actors both new actors and the experienced ones.

This month is my agencies 2nd Birthday.  I cannot believe the agency has been going for 2 years. I have organised two socials this month for the talent. The first one was on 15 May at Bekoh Creative Lounge in Sea Point. Ten actors attendned and we had a lot of fun singing and enjoying the yummy food. The next event is next weekend at Deco Dance, Darling Brewery and possibly Mojo Market.

NEW ACTORS

A number of new actros have joined the ageny this month. Welcome to ANATHI GREEN, LIYEMA MAYEKISO , BRONWYN HENDRICKS, EUGENE VERONA, DAMIEN KEMOTIE, ZANDRE MESSEUR, BRENT MCLEAN MONK and CHARLES VERSVELD.

BOOKINGS

It has been a quiet month for bookings but April saw RAVEN SWART , MC-KAYLEN JOHNSON and REINE SCHEEPRS booked for BOETIE BOER and then this month the lovely KRYA JANSE VAN RENSBURG flew to Venice to shoot a part of MY SPY 2. DAWN FISHER is finishing up on ARENDSVLEI this month as the role of SImone. SHe has been booked on the show the last few months. MARILLIZE DU PLESSIS was booked on SUIDOOSTER and LUCIEN MURRAY was booked on ARENDSVLEI last month too. Then finally ALEX SILBERBAUER and JONATHAN KAMONGA both got bookiigns on the TV show. The Great War. So it was a good month for bookings. A few actros booked commercials too.
